Mr Autofire

Partnering with Lightheart Entertainment, I helped in launching and scaling their first mobile game Mr Autofire.

My contribution focused on optimizing the game for soft launch while establishing scalable systems, templates, and design guidelines that continue to serve as a foundation for the future of the project. During soft launch I continued to help the company improve the game towards global launch.

I joined the project in the middle of development, when Lightheart already had a working version of the core game. To get a better understanding of the starting point I started by researching the current state of the game, and also competitor and reference games. I also got valuable information from previous playtesting results. This led to many improvements in the user flows and interfaces to help players get to their goals faster and easier.

Example flow improvement

The original flow for collecting event rewards required clicking through multiple screens. This was condensed to a single reward claim screen that appears when entering the game, significantly reducing friction and improving the user experience.

Example assets

In addition to reworking a lot of the game's flows and interfaces, I created a comprehensive library of icons and UI assets that established a consistent visual language for the game. This asset library served as a foundation for future design iterations and helped maintain visual consistency across the game.
